Forging

Since material selection is a critical decision with any knife. We buy round bars and forge them into flat. We have a good command of metallurgical knowledge and know how to better improve steel properties.

We forge very piece of blade part before shaping and milling. During forging, each individual blade part is shaped by compressive forces applied through various dies and tools. Then blade parts have better strength and toughness because the inside microstructure becomes much closer and the metal grain size becomes much smaller.
